How to use UppMatch

Upload your photos
Go to the onboarding page and upload 5-7 clear photos of yourself. Use a variety of angles, lighting conditions, and outfits. Avoid group photos — the AI needs to focus on your face alone. No sunglasses, no hats that obscure your face.

Train your model on AI
Once you submit, our AI begins training our models on your face. This takes less than a minute. You'll receive an email when it's ready. You can close the app — no need to wait on the page.

Generate photos
Head to your dashboard. Write a prompt describing the scene you want, or choose a template. Use the Emotion, Camera, and Place dropdowns to fine-tune every shot — these override whatever the prompt says, so they always take priority. Try with the upscaler or don't, and hit Generate.

Save and download
Hover over any photo to save it (heart icon) or download it. Use the Saved tab to find your favorites. Use the Deleted tab to restore anything you removed by accident. Use Download All to grab everything at once as a ZIP.

Know someone who could use better dating photos? Share UppMatch with them. The more people who train their own model, the better the community gets — and your friends will thank you when they start getting more matches.

Frequently asked questions
How many photos should I upload for training?
5–7 photos works best. More isn't always better — focus on quality and variety over quantity. Make sure your face is clearly visible in each photo.
How long does training take?
Less than a minute. Our models work lighning fast!
My generated photos don't look like me. What do I do?
You should try updating your prompt to include more details. In extreme cases, you might have had poor training photos and you would need to retrain a new model.
The AI isn't following my prompt. What do I do?
Use both the use AI or the Jsonify buttons to help refine your prompt. Often jsonify can make the prompt simpler for you and help with translating the look you are trying to get with AI.
What are credits?
Each photo generation costs 10 credits. The Complete Dating Profile plan includes 500 credits (~50 photos). The Complete Social Media Plan includes 1,800 credits (~180 photos). You can also buy one-time credit top-ups of 500, 1,000, or 1,800 credits at any time.
Do my credits expire?
No — credits from your one-time plan purchase never expire while your account is active. Top-up credits also never expire.
Can I use the photos on dating apps?
Yes — that's exactly what they're for. You own the generated photos and can use them however you like for personal use. Be careful not to make them too ridiculous though or you could be flagged by users on the platform.
Can I train more than one model?
Currently each account supports one model. Multiple models per account is on our roadmap.
What if my training fails?
You'll receive an email with a retry link. The most common cause is photos that are too small, blurry, or contain multiple people. Try uploading cleaner photos and retrain.
Is this a subscription?
No — UppMatch uses one-time pricing. You pay once and keep your credits forever with no monthly charges. You can delete your account at any time from the Billing page.
